En el Valle central de San Joaquín más de 600 mil personas han sido afectadas por dicha sequía, cada vez peor, a pesar de que septiembre registro el mes más lluvioso en los últimos 128 años, con una acumulación de 0.21 pulgadas cuando la norma ha sido de 7.52 pulgadas en temporadas de lluvias muy intensas.
